My research is focused principally in modeling living systems in a well define and quantitative framework ranging from the statistical description of the multi-species interactions of a complex ecosystem such as the microbes in the human body to the understanding of size control in single cells. I am interested in the methodological and theoretical developments triggered by the interdisciplinary research at the interface between physics, mathematics and biology. Several challenges arise at this corner where I plan to build upon my research activity in the next years.
